Saturday 5 May 14.15. A party of Glossop team members were taking part in a charity walk when they met with a DoE party leader who had just requested mountain rescue assistance at a location near Ashop Head. A 17 year old male member of the DoE party was having breathing difficulties bought on by asthma and/or an underlying medical condition. The East Midlands air ambulance was requested which attended, treated the casualty and then flew him to Derby hospital. The team were stood down at 15.40.

Friday 13 April 11.00 Glossop Mountain Rescue Team were called out to a female casualty in a Duke of Edinburgh party who had injured her ankle at Bleaklow Head. The team deployed from Snake Summit with first aid kits and a stretcher. Four of the seven in the party had walked off to their mini bus leaving two behind with the casualty to await the team. The injured party were quickly located and given medical assistance before being carried off back down the Pennine Way by members of Glossop and Woodhead Teams to an awaiting ambulance.

Friday 6th April 22:55 Glossop Mountain Rescue Team were called out to search for a missing male and two females in the Shining Clough area of Bleaklow. The team was assisted by two SARDA dogs, including Glossop Search dog Toby, and Woodhead MRT. After an extensive search the trio were located by a Glossop party in the upper Near Black Clough. The party were safely escorted off the hill to waiting team vehicles. All team members were stood down at 7:00am in time for breakfast.
